Tooloji

Formed in 2005, Tooloji—formerly known as Toology—is Houston's original premier Tool tribute band, dedicated to faithfully recreating the sound, intensity, and atmosphere of Tool's legendary live performances. For nearly two decades, Tooloji has built a reputation throughout Texas and the Gulf Coast for authentic tones, meticulous musicianship, and immersive performances spanning Tool's entire catalog.
The band has appeared at House of Blues venues across Houston, Dallas, and New Orleans, including a standout 2015 House of Blues Dallas performance that filled the venue and opened the balcony level for one of the band's largest audiences.
Today, Tooloji features Dave Ooi (vocals), Joshua Guinn (guitar), John Haddad (bass), and Perry MacAdams (drums), united by a shared passion for recreating the powerful live experience of Tool. Whether revisiting classic favorites or epic deep cuts, Tooloji brings the music, energy, and experience of Tool to life for audiences old and new.
