Warm, witty, and deeply moving, Steel Magnolias follows a close-knit group of strong-willed Southern women as they navigate life’s joys and heartbreaks with humor and heart.

Set within the lively walls of Truvy’s beauty salon in small-town Louisiana, the women gather for their standing Saturday appointments—where friendship is styled, secrets are shared, and life unfolds one hairdo at a time. Over the course of several years, we watch their relationships deepen through meaningful milestones, new beginnings and everyday moments. But their bond is put to the test when unexpected tragedy strikes, changing their dynamic forever.
