What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Iredell Museums is a family museum currently exhibiting The Mummy Treasure of Al Faiyum, a fun and engaging exploration of the life of the only Egyptian mummy in North Carolina.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Iredell Museums was founded to expand the horizons of the children of Statesville and Iredell County. Today, our mission is to preserve the heritage of Iredell County and educate all citizens in the regional history of the county, in the arts, and in science.

What do you love most about your job? The best part of my job is when a visitor, either an adult or child, tells me that they've learned something new, because that's why we were founded - to expand people's horizons!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? The best reaction we've ever gotten from a visitor was from a 9 year-old visitor who exclaimed that she felt like she was "back in ancient Egypt!"
