About J. Carver Distillery
J. Carver Distillery was a long time coming. The founders wanted to start a distillery that would produce spirits worthy of an elegant evening inspired by a tradition of craft and curiosity. Today, with the help of an experienced group of partners, the distillery hones a strong local presence and produces fine whiskeys, bourbon, apple brandy, gins, barrel gin, vodkas, and grappas. The spirits are produced with grains and fruits from local Minnesota farmers while the barrel-aged products are aged in charred oak barrels coopered in the state. Visitors are welcome to participate in guided tours to see the grain-to-glass approach, starting with the grain milling area, and moving to the mash tun, fermentation tanks, copper stills, and barrel house. Or just stop by the cocktail lounge to try a new specialty cocktail and embrace the distillery's slogan: "Spirits of Discovery”.
