Cool concept. I enjoyed that each of the major venues of the event had some different styles of beer. The art, music, and comedy were all entertaining.

Great festival! One of the only things I would change was that they only had certain beer on tap and had beer "on deck" and only switched when they ran out. Would've been much better had the tapping been timed.

Great idea with great art and artists - it was so fun to shop around while sipping some delicious ciders. However, I wish there was a bigger selection for non beer drinkers. There also was a very large list of “on deck” choices, making it seem like there was a large selection of both beer and cider, but there really wasn’t.

Needed more bathrooms, but the reotown beerfest is a step up from the ballpark beerfest in May. You get more beer for your money, and the bands are pretty entertaining.

About Detroit Bourbon Fest

If there’s any better way to ring in fall by sipping smooth bourbon, it’s sipping dozens of them. Detroit Bourbon Fest invites guests to do just that. The indoor event takes place on Boat House on Belle Isle, where guests can sample over a hundred whiskeys, including several rare ones such as Blanton’s Weller, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Elmer T. Lee and more.

Although bourbon is the main attraction, there will also be a limited about of beer, cider, and wine offered. Meanwhile, attendees can satisfy their hunger by checking out local fare at nearby local food trucks while enjoying performances from live musicians.
