I love the brisket sandwich! It was so moist and tender! And, I really enjoyed the spinach knish. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to come back for another delicious meal! I highly recommend Mendy's to everyone.
The sandwich was filled with fresh brisket on soft, tasty thick slices of rye bread. Totally delicious. The square knish was perfectly crunchy on the outside and the potato filling was yummy. The corned beef was equally perfect. This is a Jewish deli at its best. Dont be turned off by the space, reminiscent of a local Chinese takeout. The staff are really nice and work hard to get you what you ordered. This was a pleasant surprise.
I’ve been to other Mendys before and this one did not live up to the expectations. Ordered a Pastrami on Rye, pastrami tasted old and dry. The best part of the meal was the mustard, which I had to use abundantly to choke down the sandwich. Shame after spending $22 bucks
Mendy's deli sandwiches are the best quality of any other delis\restaurants. Their meat is cooked perfectly. We had 3 sandwiches - pastrami, tongue and turkey breast. The pastrami had the perfect amount of spice and fat. The tongue was soft and buttery and the turkey is unlike any other kosher turkey. The soups were hot and comforting. Order was ready in 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

About Mendy's NYC
Since 1993, Mendy's NYC has infiltrated Manhattan and Brooklyn neighborhoods with its kosher soups and sandwiches, serving thousands of eaters each day. Rumor has it that one of them was Larry David, who reportedly sampled the eatery's split-pea soup in the early ‘90s before writing the now-famous dish into an episode of Seinfeld. But the split-pea soup is just one of many tasty offerings; the deli cures its own corned beef and crafts matzo-ball soup in-house. Any of the tasty menu items can be enjoyed during snorkeling sessions or private parties held in rooms that hold 20–200 guests.
