We aim for a superior ''out of the box'' experience with every order.
Shipping is Included
2nd Day Air Shipping: From June to August, we highly recommend selecting 2nd Day Air shipping at checkout for all plant orders, especially Quart size items. Faster transit times help minimize heat exposure and reduce plant stress during the hottest months of the year. 2nd Day Air Shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee.
Ordering: Our processing time usually is 1-3 days after receiving the order. Orders taken after 4:00 pm on Wednesday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
Shipping Schedule:
- Monday: 1-5 day travel times
- Tuesday: 1-3 day travel times
- Wednesday: 1-3 day travel times
- Thursday: 1-2 day travel times, if customer accepts Saturday delivery
- Friday: 4-5 day travel times, only during cooler months Nov-April

We stand behind the quality and vitality of every plant we offer, regardless of how or where you shop with us—online or by phone.
This warranty ensures that our plants arrive in good, healthy condition. If there’s an issue with their condition upon receipt, please notify us, via email at info@shopplantfactory.com within 24 hours of delivery or pickup (Central Time), along with 2 or 3 clear supporting photo documentation of the box and plant. Timely communication helps us assess and resolve concerns swiftly.
Customer Care and Responsibility
Upon delivery, the customer assumes full responsibility and due diligence of care for ensuring the proper care and survival of the plant. Our warranty does not cover damage or decline resulting from inadequate care, neglect, or improper handling.
Warranty Coverage and Exceptions
Warranty covers only the condition of the plant at the time of receipt of possession, when delivered to your door by the carrier.
Minor imperfections—such as small broken branches or leaf discoloration—can occur naturally during transit or handling and are considered cosmetic only, the core of the plant is still viable. These do not affect plant health and are not eligible for replacement.
Loose soil or dislodged planting material may occur during transport. Simply return the soil to the container, water thoroughly, and allow the plant to rest a few days before replanting.
Planting & Care Highlights
Sunlight: Prefers full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily) for the densest growth and best color, but can tolerate some partial shade.
Soil: Thrives in well-draining soil. While adaptable, avoid consistently soggy or waterlogged conditions.
Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, it's moderately drought-tolerant but will appreciate deep watering during prolonged dry periods.
Pruning: Minimal pruning is needed to maintain its natural columnar shape. If shaping is desired, prune in late winter or early spring before new growth emerges. Avoid cutting into thick, old wood as it can recover slowly.
Spacing: For a solid privacy hedge, space plants 3-5 feet apart, depending on desired density and mature width.
