Merchant stated that the coupon purchased from Groupon was for a regular sedan, and had me pay extra because my vehicle is an SUV.
I would have appreciated if this was clear when I purchased the coupon.

Predators. Bait & switch. Do NOT take your vehicle there for a MD state inspection. The surprise $10 Groupon upcharge was the nicest thing done to me. Their inspector failed my perfectly good car for "cracks/dry rot" on not 1 or 2 tires, but all 4 tires. Total fabrication. He also defaced them writing "Fail" in yellow chalk, without my permission - that's vandalism. I reported them to Maryland State Police, who came to personally inspect my tires, and confirmed that ALL 4 TIRES should have passed inspection, and then went to NTA and told them to pass my vehicle inspection. Customers should know they can report NTA to the Maryland State Police if they experience a similar problem of dishonest and corrupt vehicle inspection.

I bought this Groupon because i thought the savings for MD state inspection is a good deal because it’s quite expensive. However they charges me extra $50 more on top of the Groupon because they say my car is bigger? I have a Mercedes Benz GLS and that’s probably why they charge me max price???? Very shady guys and reported them to the MVA

they ask what you paid on Groupon and then charge you the remaining amount to get to their overpriced rate. i had to pay $30 more today. also if your vehicle is larger than a sedan they charge more bc "there is more car to inspect". be aware!

I actually have 2 ratings for NTA. In regards to this Groupon they get a 0. This is because they try to charge you an extra fee when you get there which is illegal. DO NOT pay this fee. I pushed back telling them the Groupon doesn't say anything about paying an additional fee and they agreed. In regards to customer service they get a 4.
