Zoo Club is a weekly educational program where children can meet live animals, explore TEKS-aligned science topics, and participate in hands-on activities designed to make learning engaging and interactive.

Held year-round, each session is led by qualified zookeepers and animal trainers who introduce students to real science concepts such as habitats, adaptations, conservation, and animal care in a fun and age-appropriate environment.

Each session requires a parent or guardian to remain on-site. Locations are intentionally selected to provide a comfortable and convenient atmosphere where parents can relax, work, or enjoy the space while their child participates in the program.
Zoo Club Overview
Location: Refuge Coffee (San Antonio) – 11011 Shaenfield Rd, San Antonio, TX 78254
- Schedule: Every Monday (select from available time slots)
- Session length: 1 hour
- Enrollment includes 10 consecutive weeks (10 sessions)
- Ages: 7 and up
- Led by qualified zookeepers and animal trainers
- Includes live animal ambassadors, guided interaction, activities, and digital photos
