What should I do before I arrive for my first class?

Head to our website and sign up for our "free trial". This well help us anticipate your arrival & can get some of the waivers/paperwork out of the way before class. What should I do when I arrive for my first class?

Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early. The instructor will greet you, answer any questions you have, and help you get set up so you feel confident going in.

When/where do you meet?

We meet outdoors at 9am. Tues/Thurs we are at Live Oak City Park and Weds we are at MLK Park. We offer a variety of classes each week including S.L.A.M., Heavy Weights, and S.L.A.M. Run Repeat. All classes include pregnancy and postpartum modifications.

What do I need for class?

A yoga mat (or towel), a set of dumbbells (8lb, 10lb, or 12lb recommended), and a water bottle. If bringing a child under 5, you'll need to bring a stroller/wagon for them.

Can I come without my kids/can I come with older kids?

Absolutely! We welcome children of any age as well as moms who want to attend kid-free. Moms-to-be, homeschool moms, moms with kids at school — all are welcome. For safety, children 4 and under must remain buckled in a stroller during class. Children 5 and older may sit on a blanket or in a camp chair nearby.

What if I’m new to fitness or getting back into it?

Every workout is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re newly postpartum, haven’t worked out in years, or just had a rough night with your kids—we’ve got you. You can go at your own pace, take breaks, and modify anything.

It is also so much more than just a fitness group. We are a community and we strive to bring women together as moms and as athletes. We believe in showing our children that your body is the greatest instrument that you will ever own, and that through movement you can build strength.
