About Swing Recovery
At Swing Recovery, we take a different approach to the golf swing. Most instructors tend to compare and contrast your swing to that of a PGA or LPGA pro and expect you to try and recreate the same moves they do. I found that is not a feasible task for most individuals and realized I needed to take a different approach and start to utilize the strengths people do have and how we can manipulate that into a successful golf swing.
After being Medically Retired from the USAF, I thought golf might not be an option for me anymore. Not wanting to lose the game I love, I began researching anything and everything I could learn about the golf swing. I soon discovered that there are not many alternative teaching methods when it comes to teaching players with injuries or physical limitations. After discovering there was another path, I have made it my focus to make golf accessible for people who have thought it to be beyond their capabilities.
Each golfer is looked at as an individual with their own strengths, weaknesses, body type, flexibility, activity levels and goals. A plan is then customized to insure that golfer is maximizing their unique capabilities as efficiently as possible.
We utilize slow motion video analysis using V1 Sports as well as a variety of data points collected from launch monitors to get the most accurate depiction of each golfers swing, as well as track progression.
