About The Presidential Culinary Museum
Cooking classes with a White House MasterChef and A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM (lodging onsite!) lead folks to step into a world of culinary diplomacy at the United States Presidential Culinary Museum, where history is served with a side of storytelling and a heavy pinch of zest. Led by former White House Master Chef Martin CJ Mongiello, guests enjoy an immersive guided tour through the historic 1879 Hambright family home—a place so filled with history, even the floorboards have security clearances.
The "Secret Service" of the Kitchen
Forget those "do not touch" museums where a docent glares at you for breathing. Here, you are on a high-stakes mission to explore rare artifacts spanning from the Revolutionary War to modern-day Air Force One. You’ll discover the personal tastes and—let’s be honest—the quirky, sometimes questionable eating habits of the First Families. You'll learn which Presidents had taste buds as bold as their policies and which ones essentially ate like a toddler with a nuclear briefcase nearby.
