Your appointment will take place at Blade Noir Studio, a professional salon suite located in Berwyn, Illinois — a clean, private, and comfortable environment where you can relax and enjoy the transformation process. The appointment itself is a hands-on, focused experience. I do not rush. I do not cut corners. Every strand is placed with intention.
A 50-strand install typically takes 2 to 3 hours and is ideal for clients looking to add volume or accent length in specific areas. A 100-strand install takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and provides a fuller, more dramatic transformation.
Important notes for new clients:
Hair extensions are not included in the service price. Clients are responsible for providing their own hair extensions or purchasing them separately prior to the appointment. Please arrive with clean, completely dry, and product-free hair. Any oil, dry shampoo, or product buildup can interfere with the bond and affect the longevity of your install. A consultation is required prior to service — this ensures you are a strong candidate for k-tip extensions and allows us to plan your install for the best possible outcome. Clients who are not suitable candidates will receive a full refund before any service is performed.
Aftercare and maintenance:
Once your extensions are installed, I will walk you through a complete aftercare routine to protect your investment. With the right maintenance, k-tip extensions can last 3 to 6 months before needing a move-up appointment. I am also available for questions and support after your appointment because my commitment to you doesn’t end when you leave the chair.
