District Oktoberfest

For one September weekend, Chinatown channels the spirit of Bavaria when it serves as the site for District Oktoberfest. Groups of friends, family members, or newly sentient mannequins can spend one of these days on a revelry-filled journey to eight local establishments. At each venue, Oktoberfesters show their all-access badges to bartenders in exchange for 12-ounce pours of the bars’ dedicated Oktoberfest beer. Between stops, visitors can peruse each venue’s District Oktoberfest-exclusive specials. The eight-hour event not only provides attendees with a good time, but supports local charities, too, as a portion of its proceeds benefit local charities.
