About Wooden Cask Brewing Company
Wooden Cask Brewing Company may be new, but its roots run deep. The Newport, Kentucky brewery pays homage to traditional brews crafted for centuries in England, Scotland, and Ireland with handcrafted versions of its own lagers and ales. And as owner Randy Schiltz told The Cincinnati Enquirer, he's dedicated to creating easy-to-drink creations for those who may be wary of heartier craft beers. "Almost every tap room I've been into, you hear someone ask, 'What's your lightest beer?' It's a way to get people started so they can see that craft beer doesn't have to be 100 IBUs and 14 percent ABV.”
