1. How do I know if I’m a good candidate for LASIK? 
To be a good candidate, you must be at least 18 years old and in good general health, and have a prescription up to -10.00 diopters of nearsightedness, up to +5.00 diopters of farsightedness, and up to 3.00 diopters of astigmatism. The doctor will determine your eligibility during an initial consultation; anyone who’s not a good candidate for the procedure will receive a full refund.

2. Will it hurt?
In most cases, no. Numbing eye drops are used before the procedure to help alleviate any discomfort. You may experience temporary discomfort and an itching sensation in your eyes for a few hours following the procedure.

3. What’s the recovery time like? Most patients can return to work the next day.
What results can I expect? Most patients see a noticeable improvement in their vision within 24 hours of the procedure and full results within 2-3 months.

4. Are the results permanent? 
Most patients will only ever need one treatment, however LASIK cannot treat or prevent age-related farsightedness, which generally begins to set-in around age 40. It is not uncommon to still require reading glasses even after LASIK.
