About 3 HaunTs Haunted House

3 HaunTs Haunted House is set in the middle of the Texas wilderness—which is good since it means you won't wake any innocent townspeople with your screams. The haunted attraction seeks to terrify with not one, but three shriek-inducing haunts, each one inhabited by creatures too fearsome to name. And those who make it through alive don't have to wait a full year to get their fill of thrills—the dead also return to 3 HaunTs in December for a special X Mas Scream.

It was not very scary, it was very predictable, but on top of all that it was horribly put together. There were holes all in the floor, step ups, step downs, etc with no warning. There was a giant hole in the floor and I actually fell. When I told the ladies in the booth they looked at us and said go talk to that lady, and pointed to what looked like a random person. In the haunted house line, the lady taking our ticket was actually eating ramen noodles because she was cold, and telling us how she hoped we were her last people because she was ready to go home and she was leaving and they could get someone else to cover. It actually has great potential, unfortunately, they couldn't capitalize on it. I was very, very disappointed and I will not go back there or suggest anyone go there.

You arrive to rap music and piles of trash from soda cans to tons of trash thrown out the back door of the ticket/concession area. No Halloween type music. Rap and rock and the so called actors walk around with very little costuming, face paint mostly. They are walking around smoking and talking amongst themselves. The forest was nothing but walking through pitch blackness wondering when something was going to happen. That took about 10 minutes. Then we were in line about an hour waiting to get into the maze. You have no doubt you will be chased out by this guy with a chainsaw and no costume because you have been standing there for so long waiting and watching. The players should spend a little time entertaining the lines as opposed to smoking and talking with each other. Maze was nothing. My foot hung up in a root growing out of the ground and I took a pretty mean fall. Mainly you just try to feel your way through the darkness as the flooring is very unstable. Was that a treadmill I stepped on? Another even longer line awaits us for the haunted house. More smoking, more rap music and little kids were sitting on the door of the concession stand with all the trash around them. This line an hour and a half. This was the better of the 3 but out of the 4 hours we were there we spent about 31\2 in lines watching trash pile up, little kids belonging to the workers walking around and talking about how much better this could be with a little common sense applied. Would I go again? No. Would I recommend it? No. We drove 11/5 hours for that. We suggest they take down Christmas lights and put up Hallowe colors, play festive appropriate music, hire more professioal Astor's as the site suggest they do and they need to try entertaining their long lines, invest in costuming, trashcans and put down the smokes.
