Up in the Air
Start at Linden Airport, located just 20 minutes from NYC via public transportation, and prepare for a thrilling hands-on lesson led by a certified instructor. After 30 minutes of thorough on-the-ground flight controls and safety training, you'll take the controls of a high-performance R22 chopper. For 15 minutes, you'll soar the skies, with the picturesque Manhattan skyline in the background, seeing sights through the 180-degree panoramic windshield in the heated or open cockpit. Extended flight times and air-to-air photos are available for an additional fee, and each trainee will leave with an FAA-authorized certificate. Flight time also counts towards a future pilot's license.

Pro Tip: Customers must be at least 12 years old, and additional fees apply for bigger helicopters and for customers who weigh more than 220 pounds.
