Got good price with Priceline. Hotel was OK but would never pay full rate for this hotel. Would not be worth it.
pros: Great location
cons: room was rather small. Had called twice in afternoon for ice to be delivered since no ice machine on floor. Never came. after returning from dinner let front desk know and asked for ice to be delivered. Staff very apologetic & ice delivered in 5 minutes

This is a must for every Dublin visitor, at least once. It's the ultimate old-world luxury experience. Book far in advance for package deals that might help with the heavy room rates. Regardless of what rate you get, once there, revel in the opulent surroundings, the courteous and helpful staff, and the super location -- it's a treat! Be sure to have a drink or tea in one of the gorgeous lobby rooms.
pros: Staff are extremely helpful and kind; public spaces upon entry are just beautiful -- the lobby bar is the most pleasant spot imaginable to unwind after a day of touring. Truly the Grande Dame of Dublin hotels.
cons: Loved everything but naturally would be pleased to see the rates go down!
