This is a great hotel great hotel however we had our kids with us and there isn't kid stuff in the hotel.
pros: Perfect location, great staff and loved historic building.

pros: It was in a perfect location for what we planned to do for the weekend---blocks from the train station and blocks from the theater. Liked the wine hour---nice touch. Front desk staff was excellent!
cons: Room was small but not really a big deal.

When we checked in, we were not asked about the number of beds. Instead, we were put in a small corner room, with a smaller bed (rather firm mattress) and no bathroom counter space. Our "view" was of three walls. If that was all that was left at the time we checked in that's fine, but it would have been nice if he hadn't rushed us through check-in. However, the staff during the rest of the stay was very nice. They got us a last-minute dinner reservation, the wine service was fun, and when we had left-overs from our dinner they held them in their refrigerator along with our luggage after we checked out. Overall, a fairly service-oriented boutique hotel with some small constraints.
pros: They went out of their way to bring you anything you needed.
cons: Small room, firm mattress, small bed, zero bathroom counter space, no view.
