Basic hotel, clean with good staff and a great location
cons: No elevator!

Staff was extremely helpful with directions and printing out last minute event tickets. The room was very spacious. Being an older hotel, I was afraid the A/C might not work well. I was wrong. A/C worked great. Bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel itself was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to public transportation. Walls were very thin. We could clearly hear the vacuum running in the next room while we were sleeping the next morning. Upon check-in, was asked if we wanted a bay view or a space needle view. We chose the bay, and were disappointed. Since the hotel is only 3 stories high, surrounding buildings block the view.
pros: The Staff at the Marqueen hotel was extremely helpful.
cons: 3 things we did not like about the Marqueen. 1)surrounding buildings block the view. 2)No elevator. 3) No hotel parking available. $30 valet parking.

For old world charm, this the place to stay. Just be forewarned that there isn't an elevator, so. You will have to do stairs. Good ting there's o ly 3 floors.
pros: Loved the wood floor, huge room and cleanliness.
cons: No elevator.
